From Stelex Engineering Limited comes the new rapid set-up HT152R trommel. It meets the need for a unit with greater mobility that is able to handle large stone sizes at high tonnage rates while offering rapid set up times. Cutting set up time is important for short term rental projects or when the trommel needs to be moved around the site with minimum effort.

The machine features a new support frame design that automatically extends into its working position as the trommel chassis is lifted up by the crane. Once the legs are extended the trommel is ready to run.

The HT152R is capable of processing lump sizes up to 600mm at a rate of up to 300 tonnes/hour and barrel apertures are available up to 300mm. The barrel assembly has two separate sections and will produce two product sizes as well as oversize material. The heavy duty feed hopper has a capacity of 5.2 cubic metres and can be fed from the rear or side by an excavator or wheel loader.

All machines are built in the Stelex factory in Shropshire and many options are available to suit customer’s specific project requirements.
